Early Access Agreement & Privacy Notice
This plain-language notice describes the current Tool Truck Life pilot. It is a working product notice, not a substitute for legal advice. It should be reviewed by qualified counsel before handling real customer or financial information.
Everyone testing Tool Truck Life: drivers, mechanics, shop teams, sales staff, and the Owner. Driver plans describe the truck workspace; Mechanic plans describe the customer and shop experience.
What this pilot is
Tool Truck Life currently provides interactive Driver, Mechanic, sales, and Owner demonstrations. Unless a screen explicitly says otherwise, records, balances, payments, orders, routes, people, tools, and shops are fictional.
What you must not enter
Do not enter real customer account numbers, card or bank information, Social Security numbers, driver-license information, dates of birth, collection files, precise live location, medical information, private family information, or confidential employer records.
Information we currently keep
- Plan and contact inquiries: name, email address, requested plan, question, consent time, follow-up status, and team notes.
- Early-access accounts: name, email address, role, plan, access status, and password-change status.
- Sales-team accounts and workflow activity created by authorized users.
- Some fictional Driver demo details, customer examples, and gift reminders are stored only in that browser’s local storage.
- In unconfigured local development, fictional workflow requests and events are stored on this desktop; they are not sent to the live database.
- Tool photos currently remain in browser memory for preview. They are not uploaded or automatically identified.
How information is used
We use it to operate early access, respond to inquiries, manage access, test workflows, improve the product, and protect the service. We do not claim to sell personal information or use pilot information for automated lending, employment, credit, or collection decisions.
Outside services
Vercel hosts the website and Supabase provides authentication and database services. Payment processors, mapping, restaurant ordering, retailer gift ordering, live messaging, catalog search, and automatic email delivery are not currently connected unless the product later identifies a specific provider and requests the needed consent.
Camera and microphone
Camera capture and the microphone sound check require your browser permission. The sound check does not record or send audio. Browser speech recognition may use the browser provider’s online service; typing remains available. Free-form translation and automatic tool recognition are not connected.
Accounts and security
Keep passwords private, change temporary passwords at first sign-in, and report suspected misuse. The Owner can disable accounts. Access is role-based, but early access is still under active development.
Browser-stored demo information
Fictional customers, daily progress, and fictional gift reminders may remain on the device until browser storage is cleared. They do not synchronize as production records.
Retention and requests
We aim to keep only information needed for the pilot and its follow-up. Use Ask a question to request correction, access, or deletion review. Identity may need to be verified before an account request is completed.
No payments or purchase commitments
Submitting an inquiry does not start a subscription. Demo payment, food, tool, notification, and gift actions do not charge money or place real orders.
Changes and pilot availability
Features and plan descriptions may change during early access. Access can be suspended for security, misuse, maintenance, or the end of the pilot.
